Stressdesign Receives Top Honors from American Design Awards

Syracuse, NY USA - June 07, 2006 Stressdesign announced today that it has received a Platinum award from the American Design Awards for the design of Sunshine Friends web site in the month of May. The entry by Stressdesign was among 59 sites chosen from a pool of nearly 1,000 entries that month.

"We are really pleased to have received this prestigious award" said Marc Stress, president and creative director of Stressdesign; "...this award is a great tribute to our hard work, dedication and creativity, especially since it comes from fellow design professionals at American Design Awards." This is the second design award Stressdesign has received this year. Stressdesign also received a silver award from the American Design Awards for their own website, www.stressdesign.com.

"Working smart, creative brainstorming, some good coffee," that is how Stress describes the team efforts leading to the design of the Sunshine Friends web site. "From the programmers, art director and designers, and the client... I think we all had a part in designing this award-winning site — I am really proud of everyone."

The American Design Awards reviews hundreds of web design entries each month in their Monthly Design Contest. Grading is based on creativity (50 points), effectiveness (30 points), and practicality (20 points), for a total of 100 points. Stressdesign scored a total of 83 points.
